Clay leads business development at Wiss, where he oversees the firm’s market positioning and growth strategy. His focus is on connecting investor-backed companies with the financial and accounting infrastructure they need to scale.
Before Wiss, Clay built his career at the intersection of technology and corporate strategy, leading partnerships, product, and brand development initiatives across several high-growth companies. At Wiss, he works directly with a portfolio of venture-backed fintech startups, building the strategic partnerships that shape how the firm leverages AI and goes to market.

Outside of work, Clay enjoys spending time with friends and family, cheering on the Seattle Seahawks, and staying active—often on the pickleball court. He also loves a good board game, especially Settlers of Catan, where he admittedly gets a little too competitive over the longest road.
