Larry Chodor

With over 30 years of public accounting experience, Larry Chodor is a Partner in the Law Firm Services Group. As an industry expert, Larry is fluent in litigation matters that include shareholder disputes, damage and business interruption claims, matrimonial litigation, and valuations of closely-held businesses. He has also participated in the initial public offerings and audits of public and privately held companies in industries such as manufacturing, telecommunications, biotechnology, trucking, computer rental, healthcare, software, and system design. In addition, Larry is experienced in fair value measurements including, the Acquisition Method (purchase price allocations) and goodwill impairment testing. He has also provided due diligence services for numerous merger and acquisition transactions. Highly regarded for his knowledge and business expertise, Larry testifies as an expert witness in Federal and State courts. He is also a member of Wiss’s Executive Committee.

As a successful industry leader, Larry has lectured before the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey and ICLE Bar Associations as well as many professional societies. He is accredited in Business Valuation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has also been published in the magazine “New Jersey Lawyer.”

When not in the office, Larry enjoys spending time with his wife and children. As an avid sports fan, he enjoys golf and racquetball. In his spare time, Larry also serves as a current Trustee of the Jewish Federation of MetroWest NJ and is the former Treasurer of Congregation Oheb Shalom in South Orange.
