Wiss is committed to affecting positive outcomes in the community through education and financial literacy. We are incredibly excited to partner with The Accounting, Taxation & Law Department at FDU’s Silberman College of Business to offer a groundbreaking cooperative program for students in the 4+1 Master’s in Accounting (MSA) program. This collaboration allows students to earn their MSA degree while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the accounting industry.

The interactive program meets the 150-credit requirement for licensure and provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to excel on the CPA exam. Students are compensated for their work and receive generous tuition reimbursement to help reduce the financial burden of pursuing an MSA degree. This financial support is our commitment to your success and growth.

Students enrolled in the program will spend the summer before their master’s degree working alongside experienced professionals at Wiss. In the fall, participants will pivot to part-time work while taking courses to complete their academic credits before becoming full-time in the spring. Through their work experience, participants gain real-world wisdom and earn 12 credits toward the MSA. Students must complete a master’s thesis and an additional 18 credits of advanced MSA courses to gain the comprehensive knowledge and practical skills needed to pass the CPA exam successfully.

Wiss is committed to fostering the growth and development of the next generation of accounting professionals. We’re thrilled to launch this program with FDU’s Silberman College of Business. Students eligible to participate in the cooperative program’s first cohort are accepted into the 4+1 program when they enter their senior year in the Fall of 2024.

We look forward to welcoming the first cohort of students into this exciting cooperative program in Fall 2024!
