Michael Yi
Manager, Assurance
Michael has been with Wiss since 2016. He performs audits, reviews and compilations and has experience with various clients in the Real Estate, Hospitality, M&D, Food and Beverage, and Employee Benefit Plan spheres. He has also performed advisory services for clients assisting in year-end financial reporting and analysis, and financial statement preparation.
His responsibilities include managing an engagement team from planning through report finalization, supervising, and on-the-job training of staff. Most importantly, Michael takes pride in building long-lasting relationships with clients who can trust and rely on his expertise.

Michael loves spending time with his family and introducing his kids to the hobbies he enjoys, from trying different foods to playing sports and board games. He also loves to barbeque. Whether it’s blistering hot, raining, or snowing, he barbeques all year round.

What’s something intriguing that most people wouldn’t know about you?
I have a green thumb and grow my own vegetables and fruits in my backyard. I have grown herbs, potatoes, hot peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, eggplants, lemongrass, lemons, figs, cantaloupes, raspberries, strawberries, and watermelons.
