Summer Spotlight: Pat Gianforte Explores Northwest America!

Pat Gianforte, Senior Associate, takes outdorsy trip to Montana!

This summer Pat Gianforte took a trip to Bozeman Montana to visit with his cousin. He spent time hiking, camping and visiting local breweries. The highlight of the trip was hiking through the Bridger Moutain Range all the way to Sacagawea Peak. At the top, not only was there a beautiful view of all the Gallatin Valley, but also mountain goats.

There are many great breweries around Bozeman including Bozone Brewery, Map Brewing Company, and Bridger Brewing. Pat tried a couple different types of Huckleberry beers as well as Prickly Pear Ale, a beer made out of cactus. While not sampling local brews, Pat was busy camping and exploring Canyon Ferry, a semi remote camping area on Missouri River. The campsite was difficult to get to by car so Pat and his cousin rented a plane, flew to the nearest dirt airstrip and trekked the rest of the way in.

After talking to his cousin and friends, he learned that many of them worked in the computer programing field. In recent years, Montana has become a popular place for technology companies since rent is cheap and there is easy access to all the outdoors has to offer.

Pat loved exploring a different part of America, but he was excited to get back to his home in Brielle New Jersey where he frequents the beach, and enjoys the sun, sand and ocean.
