Bill serves as a Partner in our Transaction Advisory Service practice as well as Managing Director with Wiss Capital Advisors, our affiliate investment banking firm.  He has over 20 years of experience providing clients sell-side and buy-side advice, capital formation services, financial and operational due diligence services, valuations, strategic and distressed advice.

Bill applies his deep transaction experience and market knowledge to every meeting and negotiation, understanding that middle-market companies will execute a limited number of strategic transactions during a management lifecycle.  Bill is known for his ability to forge deep partnerships with clients by fully investing himself in their success.

Prior to Wiss, Bill has worked at a fintech start-up, founded a merchant banking group, worked with large international investment banks and small, boutique corporate finance advisory firms.  He has originated, negotiated, and executed private equity investments, investment banking advisory assignments, and private debt transactions.  Bill has experience on each side of the negotiating table – as an advisor, a lender, an investor, and an operator.

Bill holds a Series 24 Securities Principal, Series 7 Securities Representative, and Series 63 State Securities licenses.

Beyond Wiss

Bill is married to Susan, his hometown sweetheart, has two daughters, Kiera and Greta, and a dog, Maggie.  Bill is active in the community as a volunteer and youth sports coach. If he is not spending time with his family, you can find Bill trying to recapture his glory days on an athletic field, court, or golf course.

Bill serves on several non-profit boards including the National Football Foundation (Greater Morris County Chapter), the Philip Begonja Memorial Foundation, and the Matthew C. Sellitto Foundation.
