Fun Facts

Which book, movie or podcast left a lasting impression on you? Why?

I always find it a tough question to answer what your favorite book or movie is as there are just way too many good ones! But a few stand out as having left a lasting impression throughout my life.

One of those is the movie A League of Their Own. I’ve re-watched that movie too many times to count. Sure, it’s about baseball, but I’ve always loved the spirit of the characters and their perseverance in doing what they love despite adversity and people thinking they couldn’t. It’s one of those uplifting tales of overcoming the odds and it moves me every time I watch it (and makes me laugh and say see, the bickering between my sister and I is perfectly normal and rightly expected!). I strive to be as self-assured and confident in who I am and what I do every day.
