Brian Burte, CPA, is a Manager in the Assurance team and has been part of the Wiss team since graduating from the University at Buffalo in 2012.  Working across a broad range of industries, in both assurance and as an advisor, has given him extensive knowledge and insight into the complexities of accounting, reporting, and tax. His experience in working across various industries including Nonprofit, Technology, Life Sciences, New Media, Real Estate, and Commercial business has shaped his approach to managing both his clients and his team.  Brian places an emphasis on simplifying the complexities of accounting to not only find solutions for his clients, but to ensure his clients understand the fundamentals and reasoning behind the discussions and options presented to them, to make educated business decisions.

Brian prides himself on building relationships with his clients and his team through honest communication and trust.  His goal of becoming the first person on your speed dial when a problem presents itself is what he finds most rewarding.
