Stace Balitsos, CPA
Stace Balitsos is a Partner in the Tax Services Group with over 30 years of public accounting experience. Stace spends a good deal of time on tax controversy, working with federal and local tax authorities to resolve client tax issues. In addition, he also focuses on tax planning for his wide range of clients. His clients range from restaurants to manufacturing, professional services, and real estate. Stace caters to closely-held businesses and high and middle net worth individuals. He is also experienced in estate and gift tax planning, international tax as well as income tax planning for estates and trusts.
Stace oversees the New York City tax department and assists with the training and development of staff. He is a speaker at various tax and related conferences and seminars. Highly regarded for his knowledge and business experience in taxation, and resolving difficult and involved tax audits, Stace provides value-added services and solutions to our clients.

Accomplishments
Stace’s client accomplishments include using his knowledge and experience as a former Revenue Agent in the IRS to represent clients before the IRS, New York State Department of Taxation, New York City Department of Finance, New Jersey Division of Taxation, the Connecticut Department of Revenue and various other state’s tax departments. He has also assisted various clients with Offshore Voluntary Disclosures and Offers in Compromise.
Beyond Wiss
When not in the office, Stace loves the water and spending time with his family. He can be found sailing, yacht racing, scuba diving, or fishing.
