David is a Software Project Manager in the CFO Advisory Services Group with over twenty years of project management and software implementation experience. He can be counted on as a trusted advisor on ERP implementations and with topics related to inventory, purchasing, point of sales and accounting.
David enjoys working with companies to understand their business and developing the best solutions to meet their needs. He works with customers to create a plan that will see their solution come to fruition on time and on budget.
Prior to Wiss, David worked for several software companies and has been part of over 300 implementations around the world. These implementations ranged from small mom and pop operations to Global 100 companies. He also has previous designations as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a licensed realtor in the state of New Jersey.
BS – Accounting from Rutgers University
David worked with a furniture manufacturer in China to implement a new ERP solution and develop policies and procedures for a brand new retail store. These procedures helped grow this chain to over 250 stores in China, in addition to recent retail acquisitions in the United States.
David lives in Roseland, New Jersey, with his husband. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, catching sporting events and traveling the globe. As a former captain of the Rutgers men’s track and field team, David is an active member of the Scarlet Knight community. He not only serves as a mentor with the School of Business, but also as a board member on the Rutgers Varsity R Club. David enjoys creating events for Scarlet Knight alumni and current athletes to keep them engaged with the university.
